Perayaan 25 tahun merupakan perjalanan panjang yang enggak lain juga didukung oleh slankers di Indonesia.Di ulangtahun Slank yang ke-25 ini, Garin Nugroho sebagai sutradara hebat di Indonesia memberikan kado yang luar biasa. Karena menurut beliau Slank adalah band yang selama 25 tahun ini telah berhasil membius banyak penggemarnya. Jadi sebagai hadiah ulang tahun buat Slank dan Slankers, here they are, Generasi Biru The Movie.

Film musikal Generasi Biru yang diperankan oleh anggota Slank sendiri, yaitu Kaka, Bimbim, Abdee, Ridho, Ivan dan Nadine Candrawinata sebagai bintang tamu ini seru banget. Film dibagi menjadi 4 babak yang masing-masing babaknya memiliki perbedaan makna. Ada bagian dimana Bim-bim berhasil menghilangkan trauma seorang bocah lelaki sehingga dia bisa dan mau bermain kembali dengan teman sebayanya. Di bagian ini kita bisa menikmati film-film dokumenter yang memperlihatkan kondisi kesehatan anak-anak Indonesia yang cukup memprihatinkan.Di bagian lain ada Kaka yang berperan sebagai kekasih Nadine dan akhirnya bisa membantu Nadine untuk keluar dari dunia narkoba. Babak lainnya yang masih bertemakan sosial pastinya nge-Slank banget, dong. Slank yang peduli dengan keadaan Indonesia dan mau bergerak demi perubahan yang lebih baik. Yap, Lo Harus Grak! Oh ada satu bagian yang bakal bikin kita ketawa ngakak, yaitu saat Slank menari tanpa menggunakan baju. Semua berpakaian ala Kaka alias telanjang dada. Ha ha ha. Jadi kita bisa lihat mulai dari perut Kaka yang six pack sampai perut Ridho yang paling buncit.

Yang lebih seru dan berbeda dari film-film lain, kita bisa menikmati animasi-animasi yang menggambarkan setiap babaknya. Animasi ini juga enggak lain terinspirasi dari lagu-lagu Slank. Ada sekitar 15 lagu Slank yang bisa kita dengarkan di film ini, diantaranya Ku Tak Bisa, Indonesiakan Una, Virus, Koepoe Liarkoe, Terbunuh Sepi dan lainnya. Eits tahu enggak, sih, di film ini kita juga bisa ngintip graffiti-graffiti slankers di seluruh Indonesia. Dan graffiti itu murniii hasil coretan slankers-slankers. Keren, kan? Nah, yang bikin tambah keren, ada juga testi dari para slankers yang terinspirasi karena lagu-lagu Slank, nih. Misal, slankers asal Jogja yang buta dan sumbing membayangkan seperti apa dunia dan Indonesia dari lirik lagu-lagu Slank. Film Generasi Biru yang lolos pada sebuah festival film di Jerman ini juga menampilkan film-film dokumenter saat Slank manggung di beberapa daerah. Bahkan ada slankers yang nangis tersedu-sedu saat Kaka menyanyikan lagu Ku Tak Bisa. Hi hi hi, habis diputusin pacarnya kali, ya.

Pokoknya isu sosial yang dibawa sama Slank dalam film ini adalah impian mereka untuk mengajak kita sebagai anak muda menjadi Generasi Biru. Yaitu generasi yang peduli sesama, generasi yang berani ngomong dan generasi yang cinta damai. Just watch and u’ll enjoy the movie. Piss yo!

biografi iron maiden

Iron Maiden dibentuk di Leyton, Inggris tahun 1975 oleh Steve Harris sang bassist. Steve kemudian merekrut Tony Parsons (gitar), Doug Sampson (drum), dan Paul Di’Anno (vokal).

Album pertama mereka IRON MAIDEN dilepas tahun 1980. Walaupun proses rekaman dilakukan secara terburu-buru, namun album ini sempat menjadi hits di Inggris.

Sebelum merilis album ke-2 mereka KILLERS, Adrian Smith masuk mengisi posisi gitaris. Bruce Dickinson menyusul menggantikan posisi Paul Di’Anno sebagai vokalis.

2 album Iron Maiden yang berjudul THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST dan SEVENTH SON OF A SEVENTH SON dianggap kritikus sebagai album masterpiece mereka selama berkarir.

Kepergian Bruce Dickinson dan Adrian Smith di awal 90-an membawa dampak suramnya kesuksesan Iron Maiden. Vokalis Blaze Bayley tak mampuy mempertahankan pamor Iron Maiden sebagai grup heavy metal papan atas.

Untungnya kemudian Bruce dan Adrian memutuskan come back ke Iron Maiden lagi. Kepulangan mereka yang ditandai dilepasnya album BRAVE NEW WORLD dan DVD ROCK IN RIO.

Setelah melepas 13 studio album selama lebih dari 30 tahun bermusik, 2006 kemarin mereka melepas album A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH.
